Our story
Why we built Verity
Internal audit functions are asked to give management and the audit committee independent, evidence-based assurance — but too often they're doing it with the same generic tools as every other department: spreadsheets for the risk register, a shared drive for working papers, email for review sign-off. The methodology is rigorous; the tooling isn't.
Verity was built to close that gap. We started from the actual shape of audit work — audit universe, risk assessment, planning, field work, working papers, issues and reporting — and built a single connected system around it, instead of retrofitting generic project-management software with audit terminology.
The result is software that keeps the structure and evidence trail audit work requires, without the manual overhead of stitching together five different tools to produce one report.
